Oh September, here you are again,
bearing a new candle of hope.

Nine twice, twice the charm,
a new chapter unfolds.

Finding myself at the intersection;
a crossroad of experience and introspection.

Nine past four at morn,
another revolution completed,

From a millennium, nine centuries,
four scores, and seven spins.

I’m gratified by the warmth of life,
and the mysteries yet to be revealed.

My heart is full and grateful,
as I approach three dozen journeys around the sun.
